The ICSS has had a volunteer medical team for 30 years. The medical team currently consists of 108 people. From it’s eight volunteers received a state award on March 15 for their decades of sacrificial work for children.

The honorees - doctors, health managers, teachers, - have been participating in the Service's health program for many years.
On the occasion of the Hungarian Civic Revolution and War of Independence of 1848–1849 the President of Hungary, János Áder handed out distinctions of the Hungarian Order of Merit.
